In this episode of Reel Talk Arkansas, we chat with composer DeWayne Adcock. DeWayne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance, a Master’s degree in Theological Studies, and is currently working towards an MFA in Music Composition with an emphasis in scoring for picture and media. His experience dealing with various musical environments and genres has shown him to be quite versatile. His work has been performed by symphony orchestras, national touring gospel artists, secondary and college ensembles, and various other groups around the US and in parts of Europe. Beyond the stage and studio, he has had the opportunity to teach and lecture within secondary schools and college classrooms regarding topics surrounding music, spiritual formation, creative problem solving, and communication.
